Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify dosages
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and patient billing inquiries
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Collaborate with pharmacists on clinical tasks and medication therapy
- Utilize pharmacy software (e.g., QS/1, Omnicell) for daily operations
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy dispensing software and inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of sterile compounding (preferred)
