Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize cases using established triage protocols
- Provide accurate medical advice via telephone and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for seamless care coordination
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in EMR systems
- Monitor patient conditions and initiate emergency interventions when necessary
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Texas (required)
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department or triage experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication abilities in both English and Spanish
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
