Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls via phone and triage system using clinical judgment protocols
- Provide accurate medical advice and determine appropriate care level (ER, urgent care, PCP)
- Document encounters in EMR systems with precision and timeliness
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists on complex cases
- Train triage assistants and maintain quality assurance standards
- Participate in emergency response drills and process improvements
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado with 3+ years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficient in Epic or comparable EMR systems
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations
- Spanish bilingual preferred but not required
