Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Monitor client health status and promptly report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with light meal preparation and remind clients to take medications on time.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and changing bed linens, as needed.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and errands as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required for this position.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
