Responsibilities
- Provide personalized in-home care including companionship, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor health status and report changes to care coordinators
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities using personal vehicle
- Maintain accurate care documentation and follow care plans
- Administer medications as per training protocols
- Build trust-based relationships through consistent, empathetic care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant certification
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Compassionate personality with strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation to client locations across Wichita
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided)
- Background check and TB test required
