Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and meaningful conversation to reduce isolation and loneliness.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take their medications at scheduled times.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions and client preferences.
- Light Housekeeping: Assist with light cleaning, laundry, and running errands to help maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, social events, or shopping trips as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: CNA, HHA, or CMT certification is preferred but not mandatory for all positions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Empathy: A genuine passion for helping seniors and individuals with special needs.
