Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents/patients.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Active CNA or RN license (state-specific) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
