Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and endodontics
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory setups
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal infection control protocols
- Deliver patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Coordinate seamlessly with front desk team for patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Dental Assistant Radiography certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or PracticeWorks software
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays (10-20 hours/week)
