Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures, ensuring strict sterilization protocols
- Assist dentists during exams and treatments using advanced equipment and materials
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and patient comfort focus
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems with accuracy
- Provide post-operative instructions and education to patients
- Order and maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and patient flow seamlessly
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in California
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and occasional weekends
- CPR certification and BLS training current
- Attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
