Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Perform sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance monitoring
- Execute patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Assist with treatment planning coordination and insurance documentation
- Maintain digital records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Train new assistants on practice-specific protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license in Nevada
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general/cosmetic dentistry
- Advanced knowledge of infection control and HIPAA compliance
- Proficiency in digital radiography and CBCT imaging
- CPR/BLS certification and current immunization records
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Experience with dental practice management software
