Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform chairside duties: instrument sterilization, patient preparation, and suction management
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure equipment functionality
- Delve patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain meticulous digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between operatories and reception
Qualifications
- Active Texas RDA or DA license required
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in digital radiography and infection control protocols
- Exceptional chairside communication and patient rapport skills
- Proficiency with dental practice management software
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and occasional Saturdays
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
