Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and care
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilize equipment per OSHA standards
- Manage patient scheduling and chairside assistance efficiently
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for optimal workflow
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Maintain accurate digital dental records and inventory management
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or DANB registration required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental setting
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends (10am-7pm availability)
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dental practice management software
