- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages with precision and care.
- Accurately label, process, and transport blood specimens to the laboratory.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Update and maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation.
- Assist with patient intake, ensuring a comfortable and professional environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, nurses, and lab personnel.
- Handle sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- No prior phlebotomy experience is necessary; we provide on-the-job training.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Professional communication skills and a patient-centric attitude.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
