Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and develop diagnostic images
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinical operations
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments
- Document patient charts and update digital records accurately
- Train on new technologies including digital scanners and CBCT units
Qualifications
- Active California RDA license or Dental Assistant certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to accommodate early mornings, evenings, or weekend shifts
- Strong organizational skills for multi-tasking in fast-paced settings
