Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Patient Care: Comfort and prepare patients for dental procedures.
- Imaging: Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiographs) following safety protocols.
- Infection Control: Maintain strict sterilization standards and cross-infection control procedures.
- Record Keeping: Update and maintain accurate patient medical records and charts.
- Front Desk Support: Manage appointments and greet patients warmly.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or LDA license.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- CPR: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Skills: Proficient in dental software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, etc.) and digital X-rays.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends.
