Job Summary
As a Dental Assistant at Bright Smile Dental Group, you will be the backbone of our clinical operations, ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the highest quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up instruments/materials.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) and impressions as required.
- Manage patient records, update dental histories, and prepare insurance documentation.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols (OSHA compliance).
- Order and manage dental supplies and inventory.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant program.
- Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certification or RDA license preferred.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform fine motor skills.
- Proficiency with dental software and radiography equipment.
