Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals while adhering to dietary restrictions
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer prescribed medications under proper supervision
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain clean, safe home environments for patients
Qualifications
- Current Texas HHA certification or CNA license required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass thorough background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly/disabled clients
- Reliable transportation with proof of insurance
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
