Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory and ensure medication security per DEA regulations
- Process insurance claims and handle patient billing inquiries
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize medication therapy
Qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy software and automation systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in medication handling
- Basic math and computer proficiency
