Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical histories via phone, telehealth, and in-person triage
- Prioritize cases based on urgency and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient flow
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Provide clear patient education on next steps and home care instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- Minimum 2 years ER, urgent care, or triage experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and empathy abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health records (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible schedules
