Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate patient assessments via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Prioritize cases using established triage protocols and clinical judgment
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Document patient interactions and outcomes in EMR systems with precision
- Educate patients on care pathways and home management strategies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years ER, urgent care, or triage experience
- ACLS/BLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and empathy abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to cover various shifts including evenings/weekends
