Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Transport residents to appointments and therapeutic activities
- Build meaningful relationships through resident engagement and companionship
Qualifications
- Active Minnesota CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months long-term care or assisted living experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
