Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient behaviors, and health changes
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and position changes per care plans
- Support ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) with dignity and respect
- Collaborate with RNs and medical staff to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and equipment
- Adhere to HIPAA and facility-specific safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active AZ CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear background check and negative TB test
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight
- Strong communication skills and empathy
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
