Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and resident observations
- Support nutritional needs during meal service and feeding assistance
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement personalized care plans
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
- Complete accurate documentation in electronic health records system
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska CNA certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work varied shifts (including weekends/holidays)
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate approach with strong interpersonal skills
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- No prior experience required for recent graduates
