Responsibilities
- Assess and Monitor: Conduct thorough patient assessments and continuously monitor vital signs and clinical conditions.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and disease management.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Crisis Management: Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
Qualifications
- Education: Active unencumbered RN license in the State of Arizona or eligible for licensure (Graduate of an accredited nursing program within the last 6 months).
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Strong empathy and patient-centered care philosophy.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Keen ability to follow protocols and safety guidelines.
