Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ER, ICU, or Med-Surg units with adaptable scheduling
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, JCAHO, and California nursing regulations
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS/ACLS certification required; PALS or TNCC a plus
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in hospital setting
- Proven ability to adapt to rotating schedules with minimal notice
- Strong communication skills and cultural competency
- Flexibility to work day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
