Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and document vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
- Ensure a clean, safe environment and assist with infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans.
- Transport patients safely within the facility for procedures or activities.
- Accurately record patient observations and care provided in medical charts.
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in a hospital or long-term care setting.
- Current CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly or disabled patients.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Clear TB test and negative background check within the last 12 months.
