Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical units with precision and compassion
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge procedures
- Adhere to HIPAA protocols and maintain strict infection control standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and safety audits
Qualifications
- Active RN license in District of Columbia (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred for specialty roles
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and telehealth technologies
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays
