Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units with flexible scheduling options
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document clinical observations and patient progress in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
- ACLS/BLS certifications (required) and ACLS preferred for critical care roles
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in relevant specialty
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and flexible shift rotations
- Proficiency in electronic health documentation systems
