Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone/telehealth patient assessments using evidence-based triage protocols
- Make critical clinical decisions regarding patient acuity and disposition
- Document encounters accurately in Epic EMR within strict timeframes
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists for complex cases
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance in all digital communications
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license (compact license acceptable)
- Minimum 3 years ER or urgent care experience
- TNCC or ENPC certification required
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication skills across diverse populations
- Experience with Epic EMR documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
