Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical urgency using established triage protocols
- Provide expert guidance to patients via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans and coordinate services
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Manage patient flow and resource allocation during peak hours
- Educate patients on treatment options and preventive care measures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Jersey (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years emergency or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
