Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care based on acuity levels using established triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely patient flow
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation for all patient encounters
- Provide compassionate patient education on treatment plans and home care instructions
- Monitor vital signs and interpret diagnostic results to inform clinical decisions
- Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care for emergency department patients
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance triage efficiency
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
