Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physicians' orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in clinical condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by complying with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Associate Degree (ADN) accepted).
- Must be a New Graduate or have less than 1 year of nursing experience.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork.
