Your Role:
As a Caregiver, you will provide personalized care and companionship to seniors who may need assistance with daily living activities. You will become a trusted partner in their health journey, ensuring they remain safe, comfortable, and happy in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene to ensure their comfort and dignity.
- Meal Assistance: Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with eating, adhering to any dietary restrictions.
- Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations, play games, or accompany clients on outings to prevent loneliness and boost mental well-being.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take their medications on time and report any changes in health to our nursing staff.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light cleaning, laundry, and changing linens.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, grocery stores, or social events as needed.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with families and case managers to provide updates on the client's status.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training is provided.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, responsible, and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
