Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and impressions
- Prepare treatment rooms and patient documentation
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Coordinate with front office for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer literacy and documentation skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Washington State Dental Assistant certification (provided post-training)
- Valid CPR certification (provided during training)
