Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs accurately
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Light housekeeping and organization of living spaces
- Companionship through conversation, games, and daily activities
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate with family members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Background check and TB test clearance
- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care preferred
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
