Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Support emotional well-being through companionship and communication
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Michigan CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
