Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate direct patient care, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for residents and staff in compliance with health regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and needs.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff while maintaining strict documentation standards.
- Participate in care planning meetings and actively support the emotional and social well-being of patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification in the state of Arizona.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care or home health is preferred but not always required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and a professional demeanor.
