Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and document electronic health records accurately
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancements
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain current)
- Minimum 1-2 years acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
