Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical cases
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient patient flow
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring
- Perform chairside assistance with precise instrument transfer
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current California RDA license or eligible to obtain within 90 days
- CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Excellent communication skills for patient interactions
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
