Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and cosmetic treatments
- Perform chairside duties including instrument transfer, suction, and patient monitoring
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs using digital imaging systems
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization of dental instruments
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for optimal workflow efficiency
- Document patient records using our advanced dental software
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active Florida Dental Assistant certification or DANB credentials
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols (OSHA/CDC guidelines)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build patient rapport
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
