Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse or supervisor immediately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping to ensure a safe environment.
- Administer medication as prescribed and track patient intake and output.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary requirements.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide emotional support and education.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or licensure.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
