Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure comfort throughout treatments
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical work
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently
- Inventory dental supplies and order necessary materials
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certificate or equivalent experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Indiana dental radiography license (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
