Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA-compliant protocols
- Take digital dental impressions and develop intraoral X-rays
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and insurance verification
- Deliver post-operative instructions and chairside education
- Monitor inventory and order dental supplies
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (RDA/CDA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/DEXIS EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
