Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical cases
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene and treatment protocols
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols and inventory control
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for procedures
- Document clinical notes and maintain electronic health records
Qualifications
- Current RDA/X-Ray license in California
- 2+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- CDA certification or DANB-recognized credentials
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards (OSHA/CDC)
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
