Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light meal preparation and feeding.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or social activities.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning, to maintain a safe environment.
- Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Qualifications
- Current Oklahoma Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and current auto insurance.
- Previous experience in home care or a long-term care facility is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift and assist patients with mobility issues.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
