Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport patients to medical appointments and errands
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain safe environment
- Document care activities and patient progress accurately
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare team
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience as Home Health Aide or caregiver
- Valid Florida HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience with elderly clients
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and reliability
