Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical triage according to acuity levels
- Provide clinical guidance via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Implement emergency protocols for critical patient situations
- Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care measures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana with minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to adapt to changing patient volumes and acuity levels
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
