Responsibilities
- Process and submit clean claims to insurance companies
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits
- Appeal denied claims with supporting documentation
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Analyze account aging and resolve billing discrepancies
- Collaborate with clinical staff for charge capture accuracy
- Generate monthly financial reports for leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certification (CPC, COB, or equivalent) preferred
