Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in diverse healthcare settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EMR systems
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific protocols
- Adapt quickly to new environments and departmental workflows
- Participate in shift handoffs and ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP for specialty units)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
