Responsibilities
- Accurately process and submit medical claims to insurance companies
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Utilize Epic EMR systems for coding and billing
- Communicate effectively with patients and providers
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certification (CPC, CBCS, or CCS-P) required
- Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
